Capturing founder stories (AFinerEye)

As well as providing remote strategy and creative direction for clients, I also help capture moments for brands and their founders where being on-site is within scope.

Recently, I supported Erin Remington with directing, filming and editing a series of videos at her art-filled home in LA for her social media channels.

Erin works as Director of Sales and Curation at Saatchi Art, and spends her free time gallery-hopping, trend researching and developing a creative opinions brand and curation column - AFinerEye.

Our goal was to creatively communicate the brand and her expertise across disciplines with audiences, in a polished yet playful fashion. The choice to use higher grade footage would demonstrate professionalism and match the calibre of our inspiration sources, like AD Open House. Whilst also making quality content that can be boosted or used for future advertising to promote the platform.

With tight shot lists and script direction across the weekend, I was able to film 8 short-form videos (Sony a6700) to be edited and rolled out across her channels.

“[Zoe] was so knowledgeable throughout the process and put me completely at ease especially when it came to being in front of the camera. She was helpful at coming up with ideas, hooks, and really taking the time to understand me + brand. I am not someone with a lot of camera experience and certainly not sharing about my own life, and she really helped me collect my thoughts, be grounded and share my POV. And I was completely amazed when I saw the final product, she somehow was really able to turn some of my jumbled thoughts and ideas into cohesive and beautifully branded videos. I have received so many compliments about her work. She is so fun, collaborative and easy to work with - and worth the investment.”
